Learn Piano Fast

Is there a way to learn piano fast?  Some people think that there’s some secret method that uncovers all the tips and tricks you need to know to be an expert piano player in no time at all.   To make it even more surprising, they think it can be done for free, especially on the Internet with free video tutorials.  Wow!  Can that really be true?

Those video tutorials just show you the basics and are like a ‘teaser’ to want to learn more.   It isn’t very often one can learn piano fast, at least to what you want to play (like Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, The Entertainer—you get what I mean.   Maybe you can learn piano fast in an hour or so to play a super-simple version of Happy Birthday or Twinkle Twinkle.  And that’s OK.  In fact, that’s great!

The trick is not to think of a way to learn piano fast—because there is no way to learn piano thoroughly fast.  Take your time, be persistant and stay positive.  Stay away from negative opinions because you don’t need it!

If you take your time to learn to read the treble and the bass cleff and apply it to your piano playing, you are halfway there.   Don’t forget you have to learn the note values, and hold your hands in the correct position. There ‘s so much more information you need to absorb besides just reading the notes or playing by ear.
